👨👩👦 About Us – Your Hosts in Büsum
We are the Kuhl family: Christoph, Cristina, and our sons Jannis and Nicolas. While our home is in Dautphetal-Holzhausen, near Marburg in Hesse, our hearts belong to the North Sea – especially to Büsum.
In 2016, we fulfilled our dream of owning a holiday apartment at the sea with "Wat(t) ne Wohnung" in Haus Sarah (Große Tiefe 9). Later that year, we added our second apartment, the "Lagoon Apartment" at Hooger Weg 1.
In 2017, we acquired the Haus Meeresbrise in Rosengrund 24 – featuring eight lovingly renovated and newly furnished holiday apartments.
In 2019, we expanded again with two modern units: Watt'n Nest 1 and Watt'n Nest 2. Finally, in 2022, our cozy Watt'n Nest 3 was completed – perfect for couples or solo travelers.

All of our holiday apartments are modern, comfortable and individually designed. We maintain each unit with great care, attention to detail, and a warm personal touch – just as we would like to experience on our own vacation.

Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM.
The North Sea spa town of Büsum requires a tourist tax (Kurtaxe).
You will need to pay this fee via bank transfer before your arrival after completing your online check-in.
With your guest card, you’ll receive many discounts and even free services in Büsum. For example:
Free access to the beach
Discounted admission to the "Piraten Meer" adventure pool and sauna area
Reduced entry fees for events at the Büsum Guest and Event Center
Free public transport within town on the "Krabben-Express", which can, for example, take you free of charge to the new Perlebucht Family Lagoon.
